Red Spektor

Releaseinfo.

Fusing the more engaging key elements of psychedelic, stoner and classic rock, new wave Brit rockers “Red Spektor” spit out rock n roll riffs that are hypnotic, energetic and genuinely gripping.

The power trio set about honing their craft in the rehearsal room, soaking up influence from the likes of King Crimson, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Peter Greens’ Fleetwood Mac – and were soon in a place where they could take their music to the masses, with a cluster of shows as the band laid siege on the UK.

The rock n rollers have now turned their attention to recording their debut full-length album. The record features nine killer tracks that masterfully highlight the band’s manifesto. Starting with “Before The Sunrise” and finishing with “Black Moon Rising” – the energy and drive is paramount. Exuding stunning guitar lines and captivating vocals by vocalist and guitarist John Scane, Rob Farrell’s hard-hitting fluid bass work and the rhythmic stout of Darren Bowen on drums. Recorded in just seven days, the album delivers a high velocity wave of psychedelic blues. You’ll know you’ve been served a feast of rock.

Red Spektor plays a musical style t hat takes psychedelic, blues, and stoner rock and mixes it in with a touch of doom metal to create a style of their own, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover Paganism, Occultism, and Dark themes.

In my opinion Red Spektor are a very great sounding mixture of blues, psychedelic and stoner rock and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE “Pagan Queen” “Elixir” “Fields Of Fire” and “Lost Soul”. 8 out of 10.
